Summary of Pogacar in this race: he has the watts and power, but he doesn't have the experience and cornering skills. Race computers and race radios help to some extent but he just needs to do it a couple more times in a race situation.
He's never going to match Van der Poel in terms of cornering, though. So he outright needs to have more sheer watts given that tactics are dead.

Pogacar already dead, game over.

Yeah, so I guess it was books for me today. But on that note a wise man once wrote:

"Dialectics is the self-consciousness of the objective context of delusion; it does not mean to have escaped from that context. Its objective goal is to break out of the context from within. The strength required from the break grows in dialectics from the context of immanence."

If watching cycling these days does not constitute an objective context of delusion, I don't know what does.

And yet I love seeing MvdP tear the poster boi a new one.

Conclusions so far.
-MVDP and Pogacar close to each other. without Pogacar crash I think MVDP might make the mistake of working too much and handing Pogacar the win.
- Van Aert lost the race at Carrefour. His diesel was alright, and the race would have gone different had he been at the first group. (Same for pedersen)
