The classics gang is back in action on the French cobbles. Can MVDP win four times in a row? Can Pogacar finally clinch this monument, the only one missing in his palmaeres, but also probably the hardest to get, without any climbing. Can Wout surprise and pull something out of the bag, or maybe he and Ganna can join forces and battle it out at the stadium?

Notable riders: Pogacar, MVDP, De Lie, Pedersen, Philipsen, Van Aert, Milan, Laporte, Ganna, Brennan

Map/Profile:

For its 123rd edition, the Hell of the North will offer riders 258.3 km, including 54.8 km on cobbles on April 12! The sequence of the opening sectors has been modified to return to a layout already tested in 2024, where the first four sectors follow one another in quick succession, which blew the race wide open!

This is the one to look forward to. Sanremo was always gonna be a head to head between Van der Poel and Pogacar (well, at least until Pidcock showed that is wasn't), whereas this is a four horse race with Pedersen and Van Aert with a decent shot at winning as well - and, I'd argue, this is also the monument with the highest chance for an outsider to deliver an upset; Ganna, Philipsen, F. Vermeersch come to mind.

wow, those cobbles are bigger than I remember!

Hoping for an interesting race. Ineteresting to see if Pogi and MVP will just duo away in a war of attrition again and if Pogi can hang on this time.

Or if it's a more tactical affair with half the Red Bull and VIsma team going up the road with a bunch of friends early doors.
