I mean, this kind of thing is always possible with Roubaix, since unlike the Ronde cobbles, a lot of these sectors are only ever used by agricultural machinery so their condition is far worse, they don't get regular traffic to need maintaining.

The lottery element keeps us at least having some kind of hope that it's not going to be the same old same old, but the drawback of it is that it is a lottery element.

Surely if you were ineos you would let mvdp bring your team mate back. They aren't going to catch these guys without them
