There's my answer... Wasn't expecting Oscar to contest.

Thought McEwen looked good from that position but managed to get himself caught out.

I will miss Freire when he retires. Such class and intelligence....It is a pitty he was not more valued, specially in Spain.

Chaotic sprint. Freire showed quite the final punch today, wonder where it was last week :p

Too bad for Lequartre =/

Nice comback by Freire after being pushed to the side by Mcewen.
Great addition to Oscarito's amazing palmares.

Millar was Position 3, Alan Davis won the Commonwealths.

Enjoyed this race even though we only saw the last 40 k owing the useless scheduling at Eurosport

I got home turned the tele on with 3k to go. Hoped it would've been 20k to go, but it came down to a bunchsprint so didn't really matter.

Very nice by Freire. He starts his season with Milan - San Remo and ends with Paris - Tours. Class rider who always manages to win big races every season. On the dutch tele they said he was complaining this morning that he wasn't good and had some pain here and there which was an indication for the commentator that Freire could win since Freire always wins when you don't expect him to win ;)

Why is this, with a worse parcors, so much better than Milan San Remo

Because Milano - Sanremo is at the start of the season, when everyone is in shape and highly motivated.

Freire, what a weird guy. Almost completely invisible for the entire season, except two days, resulting in two classic wins.

If you're talking about me I said Freire didn't show anything that resembles a good form, but I also said he's Oscar Freire and he wins when you don't expect it. That's what he does.

Anyway why is everybody talking about Freire having a crappy season? This is his best season since 2007.
