The highlighted is a strawman.
Kimmage should not just be addressing people because of nationality, or any other bias.
And he doesn't. Anyone he interviews gets the same treatment.

Who are the 2 people who he has questioned or critiqued since? Wiggins & Roche, why. Because what they say in one place often contradicts what they do.
That should be questioned. Anything else is people's own conclusions, which is why I reserve my own opinion until or if Nico addresses it.

Okay, make that that Kimmage has been shown not be consistent in calling out riders who congratulate team mates that are linked to PED-abuse and the same time using various media platforms to give their opinion on cycling in general (and doping in particular). For now that has been shown to be the case for Pinotti, Deignan and Martin.

So yes he can and should call out riders including Roche and Wiggins. Nobody is questioning that and harping on about that is more of a classic strawman than mine ever was.

But why then doesn't he call out Pinotti, Deignan and Martin in a similar situation? Why only Roche? Could there be another motive for that? Those are the questions that haven been asked here and asked of Kimmage, but an answer is sorely lacking so far.

Firstly, I don't know. I am not answering for anyone, just myself.

To the highlighted - I may be mistaken, but a recent tweet form PK said he spoke to a rider for 7 hours. My guess is it is Pinotti, and I am sure doping will be discussed.
As for the rest - I don't know, but how was PK supposed to say anything to Deignan through twitter when he wasn't on twitter when Pd made his initial comments?

Gooner has been busy on google - but we have no idea if Kimmage even saw any of these articles comments or tweets on various riders.

Since this thread is a bit about Kreuziger as well - how suspicious was his Amstel performance?
Invisible in the Pais Vasco, won Amstel, then 17th or so in Fleche, completely cracked in LBL, mediocre to bad prologue in Romandie.
Well timed BB anyone?

Kreuziger will always be suspicious when he wins. If a rider plays with Ferrari the stink will follow him around and rightly so.

Same with any other rider who have used Ferrari's services.

Actually FW was pretty good, than LBL he had cramps - when you'd have cramps, you can't do much about LBL. Was there any rider in Romandie prologue who rode all three Ardene's classics and had good prologue? I don't think so. All were tired.

Matter is with the Czech Federation,it seems.

Highly unlikely they'll give him a meaningful ban.

Timing of the admission is interesting though.

Former Liguigas rider and rumored Ferrari client is leading the Giro.

Will Nico Roche write about it in his paper column or tweet about it?

No.

Just like Paul refused to write about Delgado's positive for the Sunday Tribune in the third week of the '88 Tour when he told David Walsh he would have got in big trouble had he done so. And this was after having no problems writing two columns in the first two weeks of the Tour.

Paul seems to forget this and Delgado wasn't even a teammate while Nico is one now of Kreuziger. As he wasn't even a teammate of Delgado, you would think it would have been a lot easier for him to do it but he still refused. Yet he thinks Nico should do this now. That's hypocritical.

Times have changed Gooner. In 1988 cycling had not gone through Festina, Op Puerto, Armstrong/USADA.

In 1988 cycling was not in the same place.

McQuaid could claim that they are all on the same team FFS.

Walsh ignored Kelly's positive at Paris Brussells, even though he heard the tablets bouncing in his jersey pcoket as Kelly rode past at the start.

Get your facts straight - he told the Tribune if i write this it will have to be the truth. They said look we better leave it then.

Paul said that exactly to Marian Finucane on RTE Radio a few weeks back. I even listened back on it a few times on their website afterwards to make sure of it.

You get your facts right.

So if you already figured it out, what's your problem? That he is doped? Or that he is a hypocrite? What is it? Do you want to talk about it? I will listen, don't worry.

He is a hypocrite, he is part of 'bike pure'. If he is gonna congratulate winners then he should be calling out dopers.
