Delighted to discover that there can be several generational talents in each generation. I hope more will emerge soon, so that all we’ll need to do is watch the races in slow motion to rediscover the good old days of cycling.

Why doesn't the winner of the Faun Ardèche Classic get as much scrutiny as the guy who keeps winning literally everything under the sun, crushing the field each time. Like do you guys read your own posts sometimes
One is in his prime, the other was just "born", that's the big diff.
Anyways, in my personal opinion is completely pointless talk about both in the clinic. :D

Ironically that has been pretty much the sentiment since TDF 24 on this sub-forum based on the post counts.
Going by the average speeds of races, it seems there's enough "chemical assistance" for the entire peloton.

As has been mentioned before, it'll be interesting to see if the young chap's form "plateaus". Pumping youngsters up, would not leave room for improvement, unless something new comes along of course.

Agree. These milestones Pogacar reaches every season, Seixas seems to reach them every two months.

Pocagar - wins every big race he does for 2 years straight on all terrain without ever looking tired or having an off day...

Pocagar fans: 'but why does the clinic not fanatically complain about mads perdersen improved climbing level that got him giro points jersey win against orluis aular!?'
None of the statements above are really true, though, you’re just trying to emphasize your belief.

Which would you prefer? One guy with 8 syringes sticking out of his forehead getting walk over wins in the monuments and gts or two guys maxed out on the juice in competition where we don't know the result in advance?
When one guy wins everything and we know the result in advance, shock of all shocks, he's the centre of attention.

Barcelona Olympics: Martin Fiz and the mutant version of Indurain.

London Olympics: Mo Farah and Froome.

Paris Olympics: Leon Marchand and Paul Seixas.

Until 2024, Bisiaux was better; it seems Seixas tolerated the Olympics' potion better. In 2024 he took a thermonuclear step forward.
Even so, he won the Avenir by half a minute over Widar, and Fin and Pericas were next to him on some days just a year ago. Now is far to superior to all the peloton except Pogacar.

At lest, Pogacar has reached this peak level at the zenith of an athlete who is between 25 and 30 years. At least, Pogacar was inconsistent at 20.

Even Remco, whose performance was also suspect because of the unusually consistent at 18 and 19, wasn´t as consistent in 2019. Seixas all 2026 with mutant version.

No one in cycling has ever achieved this level of physical consistency at 19.

At 20, the body isn't capable of handling this.
They've gone too far; no one believes this at 19. It's already difficult to belive at peak athletic (25-30 years) , but at 19? It's a joke.

A French cycling superstar is much better for the sport than a Slovenian. The day this guy defeats Pogacar and Gianetti will be a good day.
If Pogacar didn't exist I'd be going mad, but we need someone to rival Pogacar badly.

In other words, you don't care about dopers. You care about Pogacar not winning even if Seixas is doping pretty hard (Pogacar too btw).

I just want a good race. Sport is entertainment, and Pogacar dominating every race is not entertaining. All the top riders are doping IMO anyway.
For the record I was a massive Pogacar fan, but 2024 onwards was too much.
