I hope so. I was very much down on Sagan the last few years. I don't want to speculate extensively about how he handled covid -- some of it is a matter of public record, unfortunately -- and I know it wasn't easy for any professional athlete, but he was already not the rider he was even a few years ago. I don't know if it's just a question of being so good so young and racing hard for a decade, so we're seeing the inevitable decline, or whether there was some training he was not doing, or not doing correctly.I think he can. I was impressed by his positioning skills in the final km of stage 3 TDS again. And by his sustained sprint power.
If he can keep that going during TDF he just needs to mark WVA and sprint of his wheel.
Easier said than done. But this victory gives hope.
Is this humor. If so, I don’t get it. And I don’t mean that in any upset way at all. I think I have a quirky style of humor, but this left me grasping at where is the connection? Equating PS to McAfee? What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger? I’m back b*tches? Help me out here

I didn't see the date at first and was very confused by the tweet
I bet he still rides a lot of days after he retires.Yeah, I think Sagan will be voted" most likely to never pick up a bike again" after he retires...
I am thinking mostly mountain bike. Maybe ride road to hang out with Cipo or Oss once in a while.I bet he still rides a lot of days after he retires.
Oss is going to go ride gravel with Stetina and Ten Dam. They'll form a team called the Hair Bears.I am thinking mostly mountain bike. Maybe ride road to hang out with Cipo or Oss once in a while.
Don't forget Dekker.Oss is going to go ride gravel with Stetina and Ten Dam. They'll form a team called the Hair Bears.
At least he now has an excuse when he gets no results at the Tour. It's not like he was going to do much anyway.Dang! Sagan has Covid again. It seems he can't catch a break.
I’m pretty sure a threatening virus isn’t an excuse for bad performance, it is proven to cause decreases in performances in some athletes. Sorry for Sagan though, I hope he can still mix it up in the Tour.At least he now has an excuse when he gets no results at the Tour. It's not like he was going to do much anyway.
What do you mean to say by this? According to the PCS, there were at least as many more finishing, just OTL, suggesting that the time limit was probably rather strict. Or if you mean that the field was weak because nobody was able to prevent PS from winning again, well, that's hardly any surprise, is that.... Slovak field is super weak, only 11 riders managed to finish the race.
They just can't compete with Czech riders at all. Peter basically has to show up and he's almost guaranteed a victory. It's a sad reality of Slovak cycling. What do you mean to say by this? I don't argue that in general the level of Czech cycling is probably higher than Slovak cycling, Sagan notwithstanding, but in the case of this particular race you do realise that technically, Czech and Slovak riders do not compete against each other? They just can't compete with Czech riders at all.
Would've been a stage win. Had the speed.Looked amazing today, potentially wins if WVA doesn’t deviate.
Van der Poel would give Sagan a run for its moneyI think his flat sprint is on par or very close to his better TdF days. Let's see how he's climbing, Sagan of old would be a perfect fit for Longwy stage so much that Wout would be vying for the coveted 2nd place from the start.
Yes, but starting from a good position, which isn't always the case for him.Van der Poel would give Sagan a run for its money
