Ofcourse it was his big fat ego that cost him the race, the logical thing to do was to get on Chavanel's wheel if he felt that Chavanel was going for the sprint but he must have thought that would have been far too easy instead going for a long one and then making a stupid gesture/celebration would have been the perfect icing on the cake.

Looks like that little plan backfired in his face eh?

Give it a rest.

He won't, he is a winning type. If anything, he will be stronger and more motivated next year.

Cavendish is also a winning type of rider but he doesn't have the egotistical flaws like this guy lol.

I'm happy that Sagan didn't win because he starts accreting with young fans, and if he had win, it could have been a repeat of situation of Alberto Contador, when a rider wins with a huge margin one time and since this moment it starts to be interpreted as the only real norm of life for many, whereupon many proper discussions are killed in the bud.

Cavendish is one of the most humble riders in the peloton, prove it otherwise

Edit: Oh and before you say it i'm not a fan just used him as an example.

 I thought everyone would agree that he can be an arrogant little brat at times. For example his whining about his teammates and Ferrari winning a stage in Il Giro and him getting a Pro tour contract. The list is long.

We are talking about riders that have a major Ego problem not someone who is arrogant or whatever BS you are coming up with.

Get with the program.

"Cavendish is arrogant and shouldn't speak up when his team mates screw up his sprinting opportunities bah blah" Is that the best you can come up with?

Edit: The only time i remember Cav speaking up against Roberto was when he crashed into him during a sprint.

What are you talking about? Sagan admitted Ciolek was stronger today and deserved victory. Read his FB page.

What would Cav do? Complain about lead-out train I guess.
