Least we got to see the exciting finish. Would've liked to watch the victory lap too. Hopefully more will be posted on YouTube soon.
Bora now saying Peter not doing Omloop or KBK going to spend time with Marlon and then concentrate on Northern classics. So definitely hoping for better coverage of Tour Down Under .

He's been vague about this in the past few week, but Oss already said he won't be riding Omloop and Kuurne. Good it's out now. Last year he got sick for Strade Bianche, maybe that also has something to do with it as well, back to racing too quick coming back from altitude.

Yes, I hadn't thought to check Oss's schedule, good point, that would have been an indicator of Sagan's. They are now racing every race together. Am ridiculously excited to see the difference Oss makes. Was so disappointing last season to see Sagan sitting up when he thought he was being made to do all the work. Bora saying he wants to get more monuments this year. He's always hinted at a very early retirement and maybe that will be when he's 30 so got to start getting serious about how many more big races he can claim.

He should really try to target the overall in TDU.

Let's say he win two stages (Stirling and Uraidla), get 2nd in another (Lyndoch or Victor Harbor) 3rd in a third (Lyndoch or Victor Harbor). That's already a lot of bonus seconds before Old Willunga Hill.

Then he can allow himself to lose 20-30 secs on OWH. Porte seems to care more about that stage than the overall.

And then there is the last stage to Adelaide where he can win a couple of bonus seconds as well.

He is way too heavy these days..

Let's see. Stage 4 will tell. If he wins that stage, I think he will win the overall.

Happy bithday world champion. Not young anymore (in terms of sport of course). When I realized he is 28 now ( time is really flying) I thought about his future. When he will be retired? Imo after this contract he will sign another one and end his carrer after 2022 season.

Seeing Valverde and Gilbert still going strong I hope he continues little bit longer than that but you are probably right, I dont think he cares about his palmares as much as other guys

I'd rather see him pinch a podium girl again. At least that would be more authentic.
How do you know that would be more authentic?

P.S. I would like to see the podium girl slap his face hard in that case. That would be really great and fully deserved. Shame the first did not do so.

Because in Slovakia pinching a nice gal is seen as a compliment (as long as it stays with that and is not followed-up). Not much political corectness over here still, thankfully.
BTW, a slap back is also seen as an absolutely appropriate reaction. Much more so than any ex-post #metoo moanings... ;)

But Sagan is these days first and foremost a professional. He is a PR gold mine and does very good to play that game. So no "pinching" or any true and authentic emotions from him anymore in the public. Not till he is on top at least. The best we can hope is to have him show his explosiveness and emotions during the races. Like allowing Greg to win only to show QS their place or playing around for fun, not necessarily to win.
But that is good for the sport, so hard to complain.

That girl kissed him first so I would say it was adequate reaction

 funny to hear you consider Slovakia country of primitives. But no, you are talking nonsense. Pinching girl's buttocks is not seen as compliment in Slovakia.

Btw. do you have two accounts, the other one as a Netserk?

P.S. pinching a buttocks of ugly girl is seen as what, if not a compliment? :D
