Common- how could you dare to compare those idiots to the legendary Hinault- Lemond rivalry? their rift barely gets close to the one between Kim Kardashian & her sister.....

Not saying they have a rift or any tabloid BS, I'm saying MAKE HIM EARN IT!

Vote FROOME TO ATTACK
Yes, please. I hope Froome attacks in the mountains and quickly gets a 15-second advantage over Wiggo.

And then, when Froome's attack fizzles out and Wiggo gets back to him by riding a strong, constant tempo, many on this forum will have to eat their Froomie Fanboi words.

It is pretty funny that all this 'Froome is the strongest' stuff comes from a 20 second attack. Wiggins is the strongest man at this Tour just like he has been the strongest man in pretty much every race he has ridden this year.

If wiggins is dropped far from the finish then froome has to attack, because sky won't give up their position of power. But this depends on the other teams attacking, otherwise froome isn't going to do crap.

I don't know if Froome is the strongest or not, but I agree that people saying he is based on thin evidence. I think if the two were on different teams we might have a very close Tour. Froome could gain some time in the mountains, but we don't have near enough evidence to say it would be several minutes as some assume. Wiggins would likely gain time in the time trials.

Anyway, Froome's best interests lie in doing his job. How many teams want a guy who would blatantly defy team orders anyway? Also he'd be far from guaranteed of winning with the big closing time trial coming up.

If he continues to perform like he has in this Tour, he will have other GT opportunities.

In a way it would be entertaining if Froome attacked and dropped Wiggins but then ended up losing the Tour to Nibali...Would be a swift end to his career perhaps.

Would be a great story to read :D

I think he will, I think wiggins will break tomorrow and Froome will ride away and win the tour..

Besides, not doing it would be the most stupid thing he would ever do, since he wont gain another chance to win..

I would even bet with you that Froome will never win the Tour unless he does it this year ^^

Riis got it right and I wonder if BMC and Liquidgas Directors have not figured it out. Wiggins CANNOT deal with change of pace, that is why he is so good at the time trial. He could not handle attacks when he came 4th and he still cannot. So what he did with his team and they must have practiced this a zillion times is to ride steady and up the pace, then reel in the attackers. It fits his style of a one-paced ride. How do they break up that rthyem? I have no clue but I guess thats why Directors earn the big bucks. Maybe it needs multiple attacks. I think teams/rivals have to work together.

Tour lacks a team as strong as Sky or a climber like Alberto or Andy. It's not a problem of the Directors.

Looks like Sky aren't really chasing such a large break, so they will be fresher for the Tourmalet and afterwards.

Probably lessons the likelihood of a successful attack by another GC hopeful
