I have their email addresses, though. You should have added Lance's!

Hope not, those are pretty hefty, as much as I dont like the man I dont want to presume he is completely dirty...until I get the answer that is.

My old address, l.armstrong@usacdf.org bounces back as undeliverable. I just checked over there, they took Wonderboy's silver (Atlanta???) medal down. Huh... For a guy railroaded by an unjust system and conspired against by evil Boulder, CO forces, at least a couple of people in USAC are towing the IOC line.
under the Olympic Charter, the IOC maintain an eight-year statute of limitations on drug-related offences, which means that they are unable to strip Armstrong of a medal won more than a decade ago.
A spokesman for the IOC said that they could not comment on the situation until the International Cycling Union (UCI) received the report of its findings from USADA and decided what action to take.

Rides on the Livestrong jet, lots of free meals and other occasional "benefits", and Phil is a friend for life. At the end of the day, these guys are just as responsible for the problems of doping than Lance Armstrong himself. Only with willing and complicit journalists could the fraud have continued for this long.

I first suggest you contact and put pressure on the cycling media. You can start right here at CN, asking them why this isn't on the front page, and request someone pressure Phil for answers. Do the same for every other cycling media outlet you can think of. Any sports media outlet you can think of that even covers cycling from time to time. Birds of a feather...media is acquainted with one another. Reporters and journalists need to distance themselves from Phil and his absurd claims and comments, or be put on the hot seat themselves.D-Queued said:Can someone provide an email address for Phil and/or his employer?
DirtyWorks said:When has evidence ever stopped you from proclaiming Wonderboy's falsely accused of widespread fraud and various conspiracies?
This is exactly what I'm talking about when I say statements like Phil's do more harm than good. Even the zigmeister intuitively understand the rhetoric is getting too big an ask for suspending disbelief. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suspension_of_disbelief
This story had to come out of Pat's office because it's crafted as well as some of the stuff released with Pat's signature on it. He's got JV nipping at his heels with well-played anti-doping rhetoric, Hein's still covering for Wonderboy to the point of risking IOC recognition. It doesn't matter that it's ridiculous.
The lies just keep getting bigger and it's going to backfire. It's taken way too long to get to this point, but now it's really starting to test the faithful.
mewmewmew13 said:I got angry watching him sprew that bunch of lies! "So-called witnesses" he says...and he could just 'go round up 10 people to say he's guilty'...the "Fed investigation was dropped for LACK OF EVIDENCE"....
He's not 'harmless' anymore...he's like an evangelist gone bad
richardp said:Phil is currently commentating for Channel 4 in the UK on the Paralympics, and they should certainly be informed.
Assuming he is not on some form of long term contract, if he no longer commentated on future Tours it might mean I would watch their coverage again. However good Gary Imlach and Chris Boardman are, Phil is unpalatable.
The Hitch said:Good point. How can we contact channel 4 to ask for him off.
DirtyWorks said:Using my faulty memory is the right answer. The right answer is 2000/Sydney/Bronze.
It turns out their posted results are kind of messy.
The road racing World Championships results have been changed, voiding his title on this page: http://www.usacycling.org/news/user/story.php?id=954
The Olympic results are buried here, but still have him as third: http://www.usacycling.org/news/user/story.php?id=952
Who knows if the IOC will let his old doping results stand. My guess is as anti-doping controversy as they are, they will have to vacate those results too.
Phil could put a call into the IOC and tell them all about the Boulder Conspiracy in order to protect the Bronze. Let's see how that goes over.
