yeah i agree,those pedals and levers are out of place with the rest of the components on the bike,

just got my bike today and i can say i was more than happy with it.its super light and rides great.condition is even better than i expected so im well chuffed.thanks to all for all your replies about the bike.hapy days.

Per another post, I'd change the levers to something period-specific. Or at least source a set to swap later.

In a perfect world, I'd do is a tear down to be sure the frame doesn't have corrosion and assess the state of the bearings. But, that's me pretending I have a similar bike and all the time in the world.

Put lots more miles on it and enjoy!

have torn the bike down the minute i got it,cleaned and lubed all the necessary parts and everything is in top condition.frame is in super condition and it rides great so its off with the pedals and levers and that should be it.
