There are two reasons I don't participate:

1) as a CN employee it would be inappropriate.

2) if I pick someone to win it almost a guarantee that they will finish last, if they don't crash out along the way.

Much easier for me to just run the contest!

I suggest you open the contest one day in advance. This way, people who don't have internet available during the race for some reason can also participate.
