Sadly, that's just like expecting Gerrans to stop sucking wheels.

Surely someone will attack very hard on that second climb on the last lap which should put sprinters like Degenkolb in trouble if they get that far. Gerrans is a very good chance of staying with attacks but it is not certain.

Im quite sure he bridged to Alaphillippe and dropped him on the climb. Meintjes went afterwards.
