So who apart from Vos are the favourites?
Emma Johansson in with a shot?
Chances for Armitstead, Ferrand-Prévot, Emma J, the Italians will be very active throughout (I expect attacks from Longo Borghini and Ratto, and
guarantee them from Valentina Scandolara, who is like a female Pirazzi... if he was a bit more aggressive. Guderzo has been quiet this season but she won in Mendrisio) - and if they are and it's up to others to chase, you never know if Giorgia will make it with them. Obviously that crash will make it far less likely. If it's raced hard enough there's also Amialyusik, Stevens and Lichtenberg who might have a chance. Guarnier and Moolman-Pasio have been very good on intermediate parcours in the recent past. I'm sure we'll see Worrack and Brennauer on the move at some point, though I wouldn't expect them to make the decisive move once somebody like the first few I mentioned gets on the go late on.
It's also the kind of parcours where Annemiek van Vleuten has made her name by attacking and nobody daring to chase as it will be dragging Vos to the finish.
