Gregory said:What made you think that he had the legs to follow Boonen in the first place? The way I've seen it, he wanted to stay with Boonen, but just didn't have legs to do so. Let's not overrate Pozzato. He's simply not in the same league as Boonen and never will be. Good rider, though....
You don't really think that Pozzato & co. have been dropped, do you?Gregory said:What made you think that he had the legs to follow Boonen in the first place? The way I've seen it, he wanted to stay with Boonen, but just didn't have legs to do so.

Terpstra managed to follow Boonen for some kilometers, and before letting go Pozzato was working with Tom. If he didn't think he was strong enough, he could at least have wheelsucked the hell out of Boonen, maybe forcing him to stop.Gregory said:What made you think that he had the legs to follow Boonen in the first place? I think he was.Kvinto said:Btw, if I'm not mistaken there were three riders who decided to not follow Boonen and Terpstra: Pippo, Ballan and a Europcar rider. Was it Turgot?
Eshnar said:I think he was.
But Ballan has the small excuse that he had just bridged and he wanted to breath a little, and the Europcar rider has the excuse that he was... a nameless Europcar rider.![]()
Yes but Tepstra wasn't there to win.The Sheep said:Terpstra bridged it on his own, Ballan was already there but he had just done a turn.
SafeBet said:How hilly is the parcours? I haven't seen it.
Pozzato needs a 30-40 men peloton to stand a chance. I haven't seen him win a larger sprint in a long time.
Gloin22 said:Definitely Olympics. Who else can ? He can do well on the hills and has decent sprint. If he trains on it he stands a nice chance of good result. Winning... With both Boonen and Sagan I don't think so. But definitely to lead Italy.
