PREDICTION 2018

So, we have a new year and I would like to invite you to join small prediction game.
Rules are easy: 1 point for winner in one day races, 2 points for exact place on podium in GT, 1 point for podium placing in GT

I will ask also for new prediction 2-3 days before each race and GT with the same scoring and on the end, I will do the summary of points for this early prediction and predictions before each race.

Giro: 1 2 3
Tour: 1 2 3
Vuelta: 1 2 3

Strade:

Worlds ITT:

Giro: 1. Froome, 2. Dumoulin, 3. Pinot
Tour: 1. Porte, 2. Nibali, 3. Fuglsang

Strade: van Avermaet
Sanremo: Gaviria

Liege: Wellens
Lombardia: Valverde
Worlds: Nibali
Worlds ITT: Dumoulin

Some considerations:
I think Froome will still be in wait to be judged in may so able to ride the Giro like Contador in 2011.
At the Tour Nibali and Fulgsang will likely gain a lot of time on cobbles, maybe even more than in 2014 but a top form Porte will drop them on every climb. I think Movistar and Bardet will lose too much, Zakarin will crash.
At the Vuelta only the riders that failed to deliver at the Tour will go for GC.

At Liege Nibali will try to make the race harder from far so no Alaphilippe, Valverde, Matthews, Kwiatkowski sprinting up to Ans and a big selection but like in 2012 he won't win.
For Worlds ITT I put Dumoulin but if he'll go to the Tour after the Giro he won't win.
