Based on 2012 results (aka "none"), Vino will absolutely not be in contention for the overall.... but still:It's Vino!:)

Obvious pick is Duarte, but as someone already stated, Turkey seems to find it's way to some surprising results. I still recall the soap-like decent they did two years ago from one of the hills.

Based on the 3D profile (room for improvement there) it's a rise of 850 meters in approx. 12 km giving it an average rise of around 7 %.

Guys to watch out for on stage 3 will be:
Duarte & SuSuarez (and the other Coldeportes guys), Bardet, Baugnies, Zeits, Vinokourov, Meyer, Gusev, Golas, Noval, all the Andalucia guys (mostly Abeja), Moyano, A.Cardoso, Efimkim, Locatelli, Deignan, Jay Thomson, Bosisio & Stevic.

Actually looking at my own list I'd say Duarte should easily take this stage.

This will be a sprint fest, and I'm looking forward to seing what a guy like Boivin can do - he's really improved this season.

Also youngsters like Battaglin, Colbrelli and Locatelli should pop up along the way.

Does anyone know who'll be Katushas sprinter? Tsatevich, Porsev or Haller, or will they just take turns?

But one thing to remember - last year everyone thought it would be a sprint fest as well, but almost every stage ended up with huge splits of the peloton into many groups...

It's been extremely windy here over the last week. I had a mini tornado rip down my street on Tuesday:eek: and there was a big thunderstorm last night. However, today is 20C and sunny and the coming week looks settled.

I'm looking forward to this one - the final stage finishing circuit is 15 minutes walk from my flat.

I would not call it a "crap" race, it's unpredictable and a fun race. But Romandie is at a higher level. But i guess you could always find some streams for Romandie. I am looking forward to Tour of Turkey.

Because BMC don't ride here, which reduces the number of fanboys abusing Harmon et al. on twitter.

It's a beautiful race! One I look forward to every year... And I'm a Greek saying this!

They should televise Romandie though. It's a home race for practically the entire sporting community.

Hoping for Tsarevitch, but probably will be Porsev

That was a huge, double sided shunt.

RaboBos won a 2 horse race against Matt Goss.
Well any win is still a win.

they weren't even doing that bad in the big classics either btw. ofcourse no winner, but top 10 in nearly every classic. Which is about the maximum you can do with this group
