Now they're attacking each other in the break... and Gruzdev couldn't even cover the first attack - and now he's finally done a turn.

I'm guessing the bunch has sat up as it's stopped coming down even though the break can hardly turn a pedal an are attacking each other all ovr the place.

Katusha should definitely sign him for the TDF, since the Pope is clearly out of shape

Anyway he's only like 50 kg's so I wouldn't be too worried.

I've heard from a guy who rode in his team in belgium that he was impossible to deal with for management. and very stubborn guy. quite a personality

my post from the other forum
He is total nutcase and very stubborn. Got into a fight with his team leader in the third stage in Tour of Bulgaria 1998, the following stage had the yellow jersey but left the tour after a mass crash he subsequently blamed on his teammates. Kicked off the TDF team in 2001 after falling out with his team leader. Last year in ToB attacked his teammate who had the yellow jersey in the last stage and won the overall. Every team he's been in there were problems - not following team orders etc. Still when out of the sport he could drop every other pro here.
