yeah i know, the db is weird but that can be changed

at least Kruijswijk got decent stats :p

yeah like every year I will change the db myself before playing. Annoys me to much. :p

Then when PCMdaily one comes out I'll do the same process (tho PCMdaily is obviously a million times better)

yeah might help them out again with the stats a little, seems i have some time this summer.

I usually help out with the stats at pcm daily there used to be a time when i did that part alone :p but i dont have that much time anymore.
I'm either working, studying (no more after today!) or spending time on CN forum

I don't get how Cyanide can be so ignorant tho.

I was looking at the database and for example a rider like flens has 63 cobbles. One of his strongest points. Makes no sense. I don't think it should be a 77 or 78 or anything... but c'mon.. So many riders like this.
Whatever.

Anyway I tried the gameplay... and I don't get.. is my game bugged.
Because I have tried the Australian Champs about 5 or 6 times now (keep quitting cause it makes no sense) but I pretty much lose contact (brown and matthews) immediately. Even when I had the dot at 100. I still lose contact after the first few km of the race. they just fall behind straight awayyy... what the hell.. Bug?

Yeah it's weird, seems to happen to some people in fields with not much riders

Strange cuz it never happened in the beta (i was tester). Seems to have something to do with the last adjustments they did to prevent breakaways holding on too much. Now races with very small fields like the nationals have f** gameplay.

Winning long mountain stages with Gesink is just such a PITA. His green bar empties so quick with only 70 Stamina (uithouding?) compared to every other climber except Scarponi who is on 70 too.

Does anyone know if the save game issue with the date skips in career mode are still in this version of the game. That is the only thing that is stopping me getting this game right now.

If I am going to fork out for it I am going to want to play a good career on it.

is there some kind of expiry date on PCM09?
I'm still playing this one and the number of weird bugs coming up at the moment is ridiculous

most bizarre was puting 4 riders on relay 85% to watch them just slide back to the rear of the peloton. upped it to 90% relay, they move up past a couple of riders then slide back again. 95% same thing - HRs were in 170's with plenty of red and yellow bars each.
naturally, contador's 70km lone break across the hills succeeded because no one else's team chased...

I realize that this might be a silly question...but does anyone know which versions will run on vista? I notice that some metnion older versions seem to run better and as my machine runs kinda sluggy, wondering if anyone had any advice on what would be the best version for the dreaded vista (again, on a machine that seems to run slow via games and has a not so great graphics card...) thanks for any help!

so guys i dont get it i was watching a video on youtube of the tour de france 2011 game for ps3. it looked very cool as you control one single rider and can command the team. IMO i prefer it to the pcm manager style. is the game for PC like this or is it the same manager style because i would buy it pcm 11 for PC if its like the ps3 style.

Hey, I got this game a few days ago here in the US...I like it quite abit...more action and actual playing than procycling manager...I had manager from a few years ago on my pc and got bored with some of it...picking helmuts, training camps ect...so having a ps3 I thought I would try this...first off I am not a gamer and my wife had to help me learn most of the basics via controls...she had to show me how to brake on a descent as I blew off the side of a mountain...she actually likes it as well and is playing while she hates cycling on tv! that surprised me....she is already beating me in most cases...I like that... but anyhow it played well via doing stages and you interact via the racing which I found good...I was surprised I could actually play it via my tech level...the graphics are pretty great and I just use this stuff as motivation to go and ride anyhow while blowing off a half hour here and there..so I think it is pretty good overall...to me, it is a pretty cool game to play on ps3 given all of the crap on there...I would say give it a try...kinda like old game car racing, but you get to use some of your cycing knowledge both as a rider and as a fan to get results...

Finding it a bit annoying at times. You switch from doing **** all and wishing the game would hurry up to having to constantly press one button. Interface leaves a lot to be desired as well.

I want to try and persevere with it. Hopefully if its popular, they're able to make another improved game next year.
