Carbon spokes are here :D

The new Sapim CX-Carbon is billed as the stiffest and lightest aero spoke ever, and with a weight of just 3g each

Carbon-y spokes been around for a 'while'..

Cx-Ray 'about $3..these?

I know Busted. But not individual spokes they have only come on production made wheels. I had some on my Toppolini wheels and carbon hubs and I had a pair of Rsys wheels as well. They were very good.
At the minute you can only use the recommended hub with the spokes.

Funny enough , I popped one of my Sapim super spokes today. I was about 45 mins into my ride so I rode home changed the wheel and went back out again for another 2 hours . Longest wheel change in history :D

Re:

KB , you are talking about his Venge Vias?
WATSON_00004260-024.jpg

I don't think it fits him. He has custom tubes [ longer]
Also Cav had issues with his. The brakes. They were not working very well.

Have you seen the way the brake cables route, its bonkers. A guy on the WW site has bought one.
Apparently they should come with a experienced mechanic because they look a serious pain.

Yep, the new Venge. You get one of your biggest stars who is known for his speed as a World Champion and you don't get your supposedly latest and greatest sprinting machine painted up for a photo shoot? Either a missed opportunity or...

As for fit, I'm just thinking about the photo-shoot, doesn't even need to be his real bike, but I've heard similar things. I've also heard similar things about the brakes...

No doubt it is a mean looking machine. It's heavier than previous bikes and like all aero bikes the advantages are only noticed in a wind tunnel. Real world racing/riding they have zero benefit.
I just cannot get over cable routing :D

check the drop on this one , People say my bikes drop is extreme, this is WTF crazy

Love the look of this frame.. made me check out Pinarello's site and (after I got past the massive Froome picture on the homepage :D ) I am just wondering why all their frames have weird wavy forks and seatstays?

Look:

Its the F8 Model . The forks are much better on the F8
The simple white frame and the set up makes it look great for a Pina [ I'm not usually a fan]
Don't forget those lightweight wheels. Very classy set up .

They have a patent on asymmetric tubes they use to add strength, rigidity, save weight etc.

The Onda forks are of no benefit whatever they say, guessing they just like the way they look.
