This team is looking pretty cool so far.

And pretty international. So far we have:

2 Luxembourgers
1 Australian
2 Danes
1 French
3 Italians
5 Germans
1 Portuguese
2 Belgians
2 Dutchmen

But I guess that's not so unusual these days in the peloton.

Lopes (GENII Capital) stated earlier this year that he is not involved in the project. Sure Becca and Lopes are good friends and I can only believe that when Lopes would be the tittle sponsor Becca hadn't been able to find another title sponsor.

I think Lopes has nothing to do with Skype anymore. Skype was a Lux company where Lopes was the first investment partner. Lopes sold his part from Skype and that was the beginning of his very successful business company.

Oh OK could be. I just remember for a while he was always referred to as "the owner of Skype", which was obviously over-simplified and false:D

I heard a rumour on twitter that Jens Voight is staying loyal to Bjarne... any truth in this?

Not if you mean if he is staying. He will leave and go to Lux. that was made clear the other day.

I think he said that he lately had considered to stay to help Bjarne when the Contador case blew up. During the Tour when it became clear that Conti was (probably) coming to Saxo Bank Voigt decided to follow the Schlecks, but felt very torn when the problems started for Riis...

That's admirable from Jens - shows just what a lovable guy he is - but TBH, I think he's better off jumping ship.

"When it became obvious that [the Schlecks] were going to leave the team, they asked me where I wanted to go. I thought, I want to race with them. We were so close to winning the Tour with Andy, and I would get another chance to win the race with Andy and Frank."

"When I made my decision, everything was good. The sponsors were in place and Contador was on the way. I must say that became more complicated recently, and I thought I had to go back to Saxo Bank and help them, but I already made my decision."

So, the news is finally out that Cancellara chose Team Schleck. This probably means it will still be the cobbled classics for him next year seeing as he's by far the only real hope they have in those races while the Schlecks can cover the ardennes.

This also makes Andy Schleck an even bigger favourite for the Tour a little depending on Contador of course.

This is a pretty good site - better than the CyclingNews Guide To Rider Transfers, if I may say so.

They have Bob Jungels (Néo Pro) listed under "Rumours" for Team Andersen, this is most likely false though. The boy just turned 18, and I assume he'll finish school before turning pro. He does look pretty promising though, 2010 Junior World Champion in ITT. Finally a Luxembourger who can TT! Well Kim Kirchen is pretty good too.

As for Fabian this all looks more and more certain, but let's not forget it's not official until either him or Nygaard/Andersen have consirmed it!

According to an ex-pro rider, ferrero would be in it. Don t know if it is as main sponsor or just investor. I googled a bit to look for connections, all i could find was an italian investment co, Leopar srl, that was co-shareholder with ferrero and others in a luxbg investment firm.

I know, a bit far fetched. Christian, studying in aix?

Really?!

Wow, don't check in for a few days, and look what you miss. That's the off-season for you (and the F1 title fight being so darn interesting!). ;)

I'm glad he's gone that way. And Baby Schleck will absolutely now be the one to beat. It's almost his to lose, isn't it? :p

This Leopar Sàrl that you mention is not the same as Leopard true racing SA though, right? I'm pretty sure Leopard true racing was just recently founded just for the Cycling team.

Yup, I'm studying in Aix(-en-Vacances) :D

Yeah it looks like a pretty good resource. BTW can somebody tell me what "Gerüchte" means? I was thinking that it could mean that it could be possible transfer that could be taking place for said teams.

Gerdemann, Wegmann and Fuglsang officially anounced:

http://www.cyclismactu.net/news-transfert_l_equipe_du_lux_annonce_3_coureurs-10174.html

Link to the official press release:

http://www.biciciclismo.com/cas/site/noticias_cercanas-ficha.asp?id=32022

The funny thing is that Gerdemann is not very popular in Luxembourg, ever since Kim Kirchen had to drag him up the Montée de Tignes in stage 8 of the 2007 Tour de France. Kirchen was clearly stronger and could have definitely made a better result. Since Gerdemann was in the Maillot Jaune, he was ordered to wait for him and pull him up. In the final meters, Gerdemann then passed Kirchen and sprinted for the line. He eventually lost his yellow jersey for over 40 seconds to Rasmussen.

Of course it was a team order and not Gerdemann's choice, and T-Mobile must have been stoked to have a young German maillot jaune. It was mostly Gerdemann's completely pointless sprint to the line which ticked people off I guess. Kim Kirchen eventually finished 7th overall, but lost vital time on this stage to Valverde and Zubeldia, who finished 6th and 5th, respectively.

I do like Gerdemann a lot, I always remember his attempt to break away in the finale of the Flèche Wallonne 2008, and Thierry Adam's comment "Wegmann qui craque ... ah, image terrible!"

It'll be interesting to see Fuglsang as a leader in the Giro or the Vuelta! I personally hope he'll go for the Vuelta, Giro is probably too hard this year. Team Luxembourg should send a nice stage-win-team to the Vuelta with Bennati, Tossato, Weylandt and Wegmann, but without a GC hope. Then go for the Tour and try Fuglsang at the Vuelta.

Though Fuglsang will perform the important role of being a top lieutenant to the Schleck brothers in their bid to win the Tour de France, he also has a notion of what he would like to achieve for himself in the coming years. “I will aim for higher personal goals like going for the general classification at the Giro or Vuelta, while taking great care to help Andy and Frank at the Tour."

I think twitter doesn't really work for me. For me Andy's last tweet is:
