McQuaid: "There has never been corruption in the UCI"

I didn't think his credibility could get any lower, but he's just set a new standard!

What an utter durbrain this man is. A disgrace to the sport.

McQuid says he welcomes any investigation. Point of the fact is, that if he has nothing to hide, he should of course personally see to it that an external investigation is started.
McQuid denying Landis' accusations (rather than labeling them as "worrying", or something alike) equals confirming their truth.

Cycling news again being way too kind to him.

Here's your chance:

Cycling Weekly is visiting the headquarters of cycle sport's governing body, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), this week.

During our visit we will be talking to a UCI technical representative along with UCI president Pat McQuaid about a range of subjects.

As part of the interview, we would like to table 12 questions from Cycling Weekly readers. Please email your questions to cycling@ipcmedia.com, giving us your name and town/city.

The answers to the questions will then be published in a future edition of Cycling Weekly magazine.

McQuaid

Cycling Weekly sent a list of questions to the UCI before Xmas about the Armstrong donations and as far as I know they were never answered.

"There has never been corruption at the UCI. Our Union is more than a union. It is a federation of the world. Questioning it is questioning humanity and life itself. We will last forever while our enemies will drink the brackish water of frustration and defeat. By the short hairs of the Prophet, may all who question our great Union be sent to the third hell to be torn apart by dogs. Long life to our dear leader, Pat McQuaid."

That was the picture that first came to my mind when I saw the article's topic on CN. :D

Egypt is in need of a new leader.

I think the people of Egypt have suffered enough already without that idiot turning up.

Mubarek has an approval rating of 90% lol, Mcquaid would be lucky to get 1%
