Garmin are ScRaming it this year too! I thought they had gone back to dura ace?

Just noticed they're on the Slipstream website as a sponsor. SO presumably the VN "reporter" was being fed a line.......

Or Sram stumped up more cash?

Definitely mechanical Dura Ace. Presumeable no Di2 as they're on Rotor cranks by the looks of it.

Rotor crank too, but defo ScRam brake levers. Krysium wheels, rims anyway

maybe it is rider preference being offered, but hardly?????

Le Mevel video would have been filmed a little while ago when you take into account editing etc. Likely to have been prior to 31/12/11 so Sram were still on board.

Maybe but the vid was gonna be released in 2012 so there technically would've been no problem using DA????

No doubt we will find out soon enough.

Rumor here is they will buy shimano, Di2, from shimano for 2012. 2 'reporters',, one VN and one CN. Guess we'll wait till the bikes/riders show up here before racing to see.

Seems to have been updated since I looked earlier. My guess is they're using 7900 as guys riding Aussie National Road Race were on mechanical Dura Ace & Rotor cranks. Possibly same deal as CSC had when Shimano wouldn't supply so they had to stump up for their own kit.

cervelo website has a garmin s5 team bike with Shimano.
