Would have finished ahead of Gogl in my opinion. Always looked fresher than him. Maybe also ahead of Pidcock, but the others were too strong. Really impressive ride.

Thanks!
Anyone knows what's up with him? He hasn't raced since the Tour of Flanders.
I thought he was scheduled for the Baloise Belgium Tour but he didn't start after all. PCS also has no known upcoming participations planned.
Tsssk he's taking this idolization of Evenepoel a bit too far.He crashed in the gravel race he did in the US.

To be fair, it was the biggest gravel race in the world and he was seen as a favorite. But something seems off with him right now. This has been hashed out before but he seems to be an example of someone physically ready for the big time but not yet mentally prepared. He crashed in the gravel race he did in the US.
How I feel about you haha

Interesting choice as there are plenty of other races more suited to him around that time of yearhe's going to the Vuelta

Depends how deep he goes. Olympics this year showed the value of coming from a Grand Tour as prep for a hard one day race and traditionally many Worlds winners did the Vuelta beforehand. He could have a good shot at the worlds, Vuelta seems like a waste of energy even if he has a good chance at winning a stage with this form.
So..um...why the hell did he ride the prologue on a road bike?
What nowThe guy proves to be an ass in more ways than one.

He's strong, but this isn't exactly a perfect race for him so that makes his result even better. He's still really young so there should be more to come.Good result today after last year's difficulty in Strade Bianche. Hopefully more to come.
