Looking forward to see his naked forehead again. It could be hilarious watch Horner drop Contador in the Volta ao Algarve.

Quite pleased to see the old guy with a contract. Great news and glad we will see him race another year.

I cannot recall but does Chris wear gloves?

Depending on the weather, generally, no.

That's long been one of his trademark "things" (which I whole-heartedly support :)).

Btw, here is probably the least dramatic conclusion to a bio ever written of a pro cyclist. Ever! :D
Horner currently rides for UCI ProTeam Lampre-Merida. He finished tenth overall at the 2010 Tour de France and won the 2013 Vuelta a España.

Since when does the hands-down highlight of one's career become something more akin to a footnote? WTF?

Way to be a ******. Even if you dont like the rider an accident of that magnitude is pretty bad. What a ****.

Of course this is terrible, but this is why most big teams didn't want to sign him. He is a high risk rider. I know he probably couldn't have done anything to make things different, but he'll take longer to recover because of his age. Even before this terrible incident he was dropping out of races with injuries. Hopefully he recovers quickly and well. Look's like he'll just be doing the Vuelta.

It's also a shame for him financially, as I think he had a contract that was somewhat incentive-based.
