When the LAF request donations do they insist that people have to fly to Austin to do so?
If Livestrong want the public to donate to their charity then they should be willing to publicly discuss why many of their (program) expenses are so high.

The livestrong.com/livestrong.org expense follow-the-money issues should have the IRS picking them apart for years...shouldn't they? Or does the Gunderson bulletproofing extend around the whole shell game so that it's completely invisible to the tax fraud 5-0? Livestrong: 'it's just a name,' right? It doesn't mean anything.

(PS Jocko: Contribute something other than bravado, or maybe make a relevant point. Explain what anyone going to Austin--besides perhaps the IRS--would accomplish.)

Seriously - I wouldn't bother with Lindsay or AntiRaceRadio, neither of them appear to have the answers to RRs legitimate questions, so they are only going to continue to muddy the waters.

They do not have to discuss anything. It is the forum that wants them to answer. RR was being a smart *** asking for info. they never had any intentions on divulge anything to one person. But the drama is great fun. RR when they start digging for real let me know. I will take a trip out west and ask them wtf.

Actually it is Livestrong (& their fans) who have circled the wagons.

RR raised legitimate concerns and asked some questions - in private - rather than answer them they try and smear him.

If Livestrong request face to face meetings every time anyone asks a question then it is little wonder their Travel bills have rocketed to nearly $2 million.

This whole thing smacks of Uncle Ron calling Greg Lemond. I am sure that at the time it seemed funny to FLandis and his manager. It ended up looking, at best, very childish. This pettiness will not go over well for someone pretending to be a philanthropist.

As I have said my goal was not to bait or troll Livestrong but to engage with them about to all the questions that are out there about the foundation. If my intent was otherwise there are certainly other ways to needle them. I kept our exchange private until they went after me.

Their intial tone with me was very positive and I was foolishly hopeful that they would actually engage with me in an upfront manner. I even sent emails out to a few friends asking for input as I thought that I would finally get answers.....how wrong I was.

It turns out this is a common practice that they have done with many people, pretend they will be open then errect multiple hurdles and barriers to any actual information.

I would have no problems going to Austin but their actions have made it clear that any trip would be a waste of time. They have no intent of discussing these topics with me, or anyone else.

ever since i started following RR on twitter (bear in mind i have only ever looked at twitter about 5 times since i signed up about 2 years ago and never made any comments at all) i also started receiving emails from twitter saying i have a new person(s) following me, maybe 8 in total. these people, upon investigation (because 'why the hell would someone follow a blank twitter') every single one of them, was involved in livestrong in some capacity.

very very disturbing, twitter account deactivated...
