With the Worlds in Tabor, I think we'll see another big performance from Zemanova......she's impressed all season. I'm not sure what she has to do to attract the big teams.......Change her passport?

Why is Kamp riding in non team kit? Is he without a contract? I cannot imagine that to be the case? PCS has him with Pauwels through the end of 2024.
Kamp is still a young guy with a good potential. Really hope a good team picks him up!He was let go at the end of 2023. Roodhooft brothers are backing his privateer stint now financially, with Colnago providing the bikes. They have all places occupied in their teams for now, so that's why he's racing with a black kit. Since Kamp stated he wanted to race more on the road, I would say a move to Alpecin Deceuninck Devo Team is coming sooner rather than later and next season he'll be either with Crelan or Cyclocross Reds kit.
I'm sure he'll do some road racing, like nearly all the cyclocrossers do. But he has turned away from the road (was previously World Tour with DSM) in the last year or two which is probably the reason for his progress in CX.Nice battle between Crelan and Baloise at Zonhoven. Nieuwenhuis has had his best CX season ever. Will he also be on the road? I would hope so with the form he has.
Yes, he did a large proportion of the team's summer road programme that usually consists of the belgian national and uci level stage and (non classics season) one day races, as well as a couple of other races outside of belgium. I think there might be more done this summer though, as I think Sven Nys mentioned the team should do more road racing as a base following seeing the positive effect it's had on other riders. That obviously doesn't mean do a whole road season or anything, but probably a wider calendar than the aforementioned races, and less time on training camps in Majorca.I'm sure he'll do some road racing, like nearly all the cyclocrossers do. At least Ronhaar has said that he wants to do more road in 2024 to see what he could do. I saw him linked with a trainee place with Lidl - Trek in 2024, but can't find official confirmation right now.
There's not that many options, really. It's either the Roodhoofts or Pauwels, and then maybe the Wanty cyclocross department. In a case like Kamp's the lack of a Dutch cyclocross team is unfortunate, a Belgian of his level would always have a team.Kamp is still a young guy with a good potential. Aren’t there any road teams he could join? Better than plodding along all by himself? There's not that many options, really. Maybe the Tour de Tietema team, although I'm not sure what this team really wants to do. Except create Youtube content.Aren’t there any road teams he could join? Better than plodding along all by himself?
This is what I don't understand. They have no one, other than Iserbyt really. Vanthourenhout is having a torrid season apart from the win on saturday and the european championship. He dnfed again in Zonhoven. Iserbyt was nowhere with his sickness, meanwhile behind VDP was two riders from from Crelan and two from Baloise. Thibau Nys was also up at the front for a while giving three Baloise riders. The entirety of the the top ten excluding Iserbyt was Nieuwenhuis, Ronhaar and riders supported by the structure of the Roodhooft brothers., including now Kamp. And while he maybe wasn't developing at the same rate as the team wanted him to (he is a year older than Ronhaar), I wouldn't say the older younger riders are setting the u23 races alight like the likes of Kamp, Ronhaar, Vandebosch, Verburg, Meeusen were all doing, as well as before that Vanthourenhout and Iserbyt.Pauwels-Sauzen could be at a disadvantage, if more of the other CX teams embark on bigger summer road campaigns.
I think it's possible in years to come most of the top CX riders connected to WT teams; MVTH & Iserbyt are Pauwels-Sauzen, and they let Kamp so; who else have they got?
There focus is the road, which is why Loockx moved there, as he wants to focus more on the road now. As to what the team wants to do, their main goal is a Tour de France wild card. Along with that from what Bas Tietema has said, I think the aim is to be this season somewhere that can give some of the best talents from continental and elite national ranks a chance to perform a step higher. Looking at some of the videos they've put out last year, the aim is to perhaps to try and perform collectively, rather than sign all the best people they can that have fallen from the world tour (Kevin Inkelaar is sort of an acceptation) and then have a few spots from conti level who end up having to prove their worth again these world tour 'dropouts'.Maybe the Tour de Tietema team, although I'm not sure what this team really wants to do.
