It looks like a better schedule for the majority of the athletes who will be competing in the sport. Let's fact it...all the travel is terrible for the athlete's and team budgets.
That makes some sense as Oristano is to be one of the protected events where riders cannot compete elsewhere that weekend.

So Pauwels Sauzen have linked up with Soudal Quickstep and and AG Soudal which gives Leonie Bentveld and also it appears Viktor Vandenberghe the opportunity to ride for the teams respective devo teams. I wonder if this is a simple link for development or much further, such as Tim Merlier rides for the Sauces in the winter and whether the Sauces move to Specialized despite being with Ridley till 2026. As much as Ridley would probably like to be back in the World Tour it probably won't happen the other way as Specialized is a bigger brand and is with at least the men's team until 2027.
I've been saying for a while that Bentveld needs to be on a WT team; all her rivals are, and she's losing out......

US CX Cup starts this weekend in Roanoake, Virginia......Sadly no live stream as no more GCN.
Manon Bakker and Helene Clauzel are stateside to pick up some early season UCI points. No notable Euros in the mens race.
He is still on crutches but Wout has said 'he will certainly be seen' in races this winter.
Reminds me of 2019/20 when he came back after injury........I imagine it may well be a similar scenario.
I have to admit, I haven't taken as much interest this year, mainly to no live coverage. Saying that, none of the other CX races have had any.

My guess is the first broadcasted race will be Saturday, Round 1 of the HSF System/old TOI TOI Cup. But haven't checked if it will be full race or highlights.
Cycocross 24 race calendar has race as cancelled, with the first one on 5th October.
TV schedule is pretty packed this weekend with road worlds and mountain bike world cup.
I don’t think the Holmgrens or Honsinger have been in any of those races. Do you know what their plans are for the season? Perhaps one or both Holmgrens are at the road WCs?

Watching the Junior women's ITT this morning and CX riders in the medals; Ferguson, Chladanova & Wolff..... And all now signed to WWT teams.
I'm still surprised that men's junior CX World champion, Stefano Viezzi hasn't attracted any interest; but the Benelux CX teams tend to look after their own.
