After that corner he was suddenly almost the last man in in the race, so maybe yes.

Of course it does, but let's be honest, if it was the other way around, MVDP would almost certainly still have won.

Wout just went from almost last place, and caught everyone who isn't Mathieu. I think that if the start placings had been flipped, Mathieu would not be an automatic win. What Wout did go get where he is now, has been amazing.
