I take it you're not Brand's biggest fan...
Does Brand even have many fans, despite her amazing success I can't recall ever seeing a fan at races with a large Brand banner as the more popular riders.
At Baal even Isserbyt had a fan race side with a sign 'we are missing you Elli'

I don't even think that this is a question due to the short duration of CX races, riders shed their jackets before race start then just endure to the finish, I can't recall riders taking off anything more than gloves/glasses.
Earlier at Namur Issebyt almost succumbed to hyperthermia in the cold, then he should have put on a jacket!

Yesterday, Vermeersch started with a jacket, covering his new Bora kit, but in later pictures it's fully visible.

I dont think its against the rules as such, the problem is how do you take it off whilst essentially racing when you need full concentration and hands on the handlebars, and where do you put it safely so that it doesnt get caught when you mount/dismount/carry your bike etc, as you arent going to chucking €100 jerseys into the crowd as a CX racer, even if you can afford a Lambo to drive to the race.

CX stuff is all fleecy backed anyway, you run more risk of overheating than being too cold ime, unless the weather is freezing rain and you are getting soaked, as its not waterproof gear, but the efforts you are putting in should keep you warm enough, obviously I guess sometimes riders might get that balance wrong,, choose a baselayer thats not upto the temp and if youve sat on the start line too long losing heat, there is a tipping point where its very difficult to get body temp up again regardless of how much effort you put in.

I'm not sure why Pogi has entered the chat; I thought this was the CX forum - unless he starts racing CX, then he's an irrelevance. Not everything in cycling has to involve him.......
I think Mathieu's current form involves Pogi. That was why he entered the chat.

In other news, SNOW RACE!!!

Proof CX is a winter sport!
They will send these images to the IOC as part of their lobbying campaign.

Every rider and their mother has a fanclub in Flanders, so Brand probably does as well.

While the women were finishing, I was thinking that it wouldn't surprise me if the snow had completely stopped by the time the men started.
Of course, it's still on the ground, which could make it rather muddy.
Anyway, it started again.

And nice stair-jumping technique from Vandeputte.
