Very good route. Really happy that the hilly stages are back, and thank god, no brutal MTFs (although some mountain stages could definitely be better).

I agree that Zoncolan is perhaps too much, but have there been so many other brutal MTF in the Giro the last years?

I only see ~4 bad days (flat exclusively for sprinters), the rest seem like they could be entertaining. I like the rolling "sprinter" stages that will most likely see a breakaway or a puncheur that can sprint winning. I can handle that.

There is no such thing as too brutal a MTF! Make them climb Zoncolan 3 times and watch the sprinters cry!

:D

I put a 9, but mi rate is 8.5

I like the mountain stages, good design. Maybe I would like harder stages in Mortirolo and Finestre, but is ok.

Good ITT

Maybe too much stages for sprinters, but not very important.

Good medium mountains stages.

Yes, a good route. It could be a nice race or not, but not for the route.

How the cyclists perform on the parcours makes the race, as the saying goes... however this race looks better than the 2015 TdF by a fairly long way. But I am biased toward the Giro d Italia in general.

Gave it an 8 only because it lacks an HC climb or two.

for me it is 8/10
it is a really good route and by far better than last year but I miss one really big mountain stage. Normaly the giro offers such stages but this year there is no stage outstanding.
ps: can someone explain why everyone complains about the cervinia stage. Is there any special mountain they left out?
