Rate the riders

I was wondering how you all would rate different riders on different aspects.

For those of you who play PCM the game rates cycling riders on several aspects such as hils, sprints, mountains, time trias, prologues, descents.

The ratings are out of a hundred though only 1 or 2 riders will get above 80 for a stat and 85 or 86 is usually the cieling.

For example Cavendish has a rating of 84 for sprints.

Farrar has 82 and JJ Haedo has 79.

So how would you rate the top 3 or 4 (or more if you want) riders in each discipline.

Ill start.

in 2010 all the team went to the ground. They improved this year since only six of them felt..

I hope you realize that was a sprint after Gilbert killed him self trying to still win the race on Saint-Nicholas, humiliating Valverde in the process. The funny thing is, you'll never see Valverde doing work on the front. He's just sucking Cadel's wheel in the hope that the latter reels Gilbert back in.

Yeah, Valverde is faster on the flat sprints, but that vid doesn't prove anything.

Menchov's time trials weren't very impressive this year, so I didn't rate him.

That was slightly tongue in cheek.

My honest opinion is that there isn't much to choose between them.

Can you read? I asked for something more resembling a bunch sprint, not a tiny group of 10 riders.

If we were to start posting videos of Valverde winning sprints from a groups as small as that, it would take all night.

Beating Farrar is quite a bit better than beating Freire and Gavazzi ;)

There's also the 2009 Vuelta where he got second in a bunch sprint behind Farrar. Or stage 6 of the 2008 Vuelta where he got second behind Paolo Bettini, but before Alejandro Valverde, Daniele Bennati and Oscar Freire.

Gilbert won that sprint by accelerating out of the corner quicker than Farrar. Pure race smarts.

I would improve Evans in Hills, Time Trialling, Mountains and sprinting. Samu should be boosted up in mountains as well and Shleck should be on par or just below Contador in mountains rather than 3 down.

I would put one more gradation for TT for GT and TT for one day start. Kloden was always weak on the Worlds whereas Wiggins is unlikely to be that good on stage 20 as he does on the Worlds. It works for many other guys.
