Well I am mostly talking about a wider cultural here at the clinic in relation to those that take differing views - those that are not part of the 'in the know' groupset are often treated with contempt - but you can always just ignore this particular poster. The reaction to him has caused more disruption that the poster himself.

I think a certain amount of people probably enjoy that - and yes it must be fun to gang up on him - but it can come across as bullying. A lot of people don't like to read nastiness, so maybe the ignore function is the way to go.

It is not a "Wider Cultural" it is you. You are singled out because of your deliberate attempts to highjack threads and bait posters. If you review the threads that have gotten hostile in the clinic over the last few months there is one common thread, one of your many usernames had been involved in disrupting the discussion. Without this intentional disruption that you cause it is possible for this to be a very civil place.

I label you, and your multiple banned usernames troll, because that is what you are. I do not use this for everyone that I disagree with, just you. This is largely the case with most posters here. You highjack a thread, bait posters, then claim persecution when multiple posters call you out on your trolling.

Maybe it's understandable that you wouldn't want to do this here, RR, but as long as you take note of the OP and take account of this in future, and don't pretend you can just go on as before, then that will be good enough. Nobody should duck their role here.

Why can you just not admit that somebody who is making ridiculous posts and using lies to back them up is just here to disrupt. As I mentioned in my last post, if it was just a case of disagreeing with somebody like I did with Ludwig, there would be not a problem between many people.

Secondly, if Rise of the Dead is not part of the 'In the Know group', if his knowledge is just limited, why does he ignore everything they that is pointed out to him. There was a poster ages ago who came on with a lack of insight into a particular subject. After those 'in the know' answered all his questions and points, he realised what was going on, done some research and then acknowledged that he was unaware beforehand and now had a better understanding of things.

Rise of the Dead has no interest in such a thin because he is not here to gain a wider view on things. Simple.

Umm, you realize no one else is complaining about RR, other than it would be nice if he ignored you, but there have been numerous people who have complained about you in your various incarnations. Also, does repeat banning not actually demonstrate that you are not learning, and are in fact just trolling.

Well, as I keep saying, I think he is simplistic and repetative, and clearly he needs to be warned about that. But there is an element of truth in what he says, from my point of view, so I don't think he is lying as such. He's just a bit cackhanded.

I don't go along with these conspiracy theories about people coming here to "disrupt the threads", even if their actions are causing a disruption. That's often used about anyone who stands up for themselves that doesn't buy into the whole clinic religion, so to me it's a slippery slope - an easy tactic to get the mods to silence people. First its him, but who is next?

I would advise our friend to try to straighten the edges of his approach so as not to provoke people, stop repeating the same point in nearly every post, and take a little break so people can have a rest of him. And others should just ignore him.

The thing is, though they won't admit it, there are some who quite like having someone around making ignorant points about EPO so they have a punch bag to play with. That's why he gets so many responses.

Not lying, he made up a story about a post Tour press conference that never happened.

He took haematocrit figures of 2 riders from 95 & 02 respectively and said they were both from 97.

He says that the UCI 50% limit had no effect on Bjarne Riis perfromance when he was once recorded with a level of 56% and was known as Mr.60%.

David Millar dednt improve on EPO when Millar himself said he improved with EPO and his results reflect that.

These are all lies yet he sticks to these lies. If you have been proven to be wrong, just admit it and move on, otherwise you are just trolling. What part of these lies do you believe to be true.

David Millar dednt improve on EPO when Millar himself said he improved with EPO and his results reflect that.

The more subtle point is he didn't improve by an astonishing amount. He's done fairly well since he's been clean. That's what you should take away from that.

My friend, you are a good poster, I think most of us consider a good poster as someone who can be realsitic and discuss items without resorting to insults. The Clinic can be a negative place, even for me at times but I have followed cycling for 20 years. The first 10 were all sweetness and light but Festina and the last 10 years have changed everything.

Thats why so many are nostalgic for the 80s and 90s even though we know these years were also corrupt was corrupt. Pro Cycling is like The Matrix, all normal and bright, full of heros and great drama but once you swallow the Festina pill, you enter a completely different world, a nastier, seedier, darker world. We are like the guy in the movie who wanted to be re-inserted into The Matrix- He said 'Ignorance is Bliss'

why does it take them three weeks to ban him each time? seriously, it makes me wonder. Don't tell me it's to do with free speech - he's already been banned so that can't possibly be the explanation.

at this rate we'll lose people like dr. maserati, pmcg76, theswordsman, race radio etc. Who thinks the lads from the science of sport can be bothered to come on here with their views any more? or betsy a. or vaughters. or any other people which are interesting to hear from.

Gotta say I was a bit embarrassed when Alpe said this nutcase was from the south east of England, precisely my location. However apparently he's with the largest ISP, which my guess puts him with BT, which hopefully means I will be safe if they go ahead with an ip ban.
