(@CyclistAbi is gonna be disappointed Roglic doesn't feature. Well, Roglic will just have to win a WT 1-day race if he wants to feature. And... I don't think he knows about this.)

This years edition is indeed not exactly my cup of tee but i wholeheartedly agree Rogla has no place in this years edition of the calendar, after all the agreement was Rogla needs to win a notable one day racing event riding for his new team otherwise it simply won't happen. Although acing Catalunya, starting strong in Giro, finishing Tour half a decade later, finishing Worlds RR and Il Lombardia relatively high ... lets be totally honest Andorra Cycling Masters just doesn't qualify for now. On top of that it would be hard to beat this photo taken by Quentin Joly hanging on the wall for the duration of the 2026 season:

Maybe next year then. As for the Christmas and your effort. That always has a place in my heart and thank you for caring. For now i can only conclude with the essential ingredient December is made of:

Has to be WE Flanders. I just wonder how they got a different final km gradient if both races finish in the exactly same location

Correct about the race. Don't ask me about the final km gradient. I'm not the math expert around here.

Distance: 213 km
Vertical meters: 3716
Gradient final km: 5.9 %
Won how: 18.6 km solo

Men's Strade Bianche? But once again the final gradient is different to the women's race!

Indeed. This time the gradient final km question is easily to answer: Pogacar just went so hard he made the climb flatter.

Distance: 205.1 km
Vertical meters: 3144
Gradient final km: 11.3 %
Won how: 0.5 km solo
