It was a way more exciting race that I thought it would be (happy the MvdP solo didn't stick). It was a shame he didn't wait for Del Grosso. I'm not sure they would've been that much better of because everybody would have looked at them and start attacking, but it would've made it an interesting tactical race.
The other takeaway is that I'm just so happy De Lie is back. He will be annoyed that he isn't winning but ofcourse if you get yourself in the mix enough you start winning eventually. The question ofcourse is if and when be can take the next step and be there in the biggest races, but for now just happy to see this.
