Settimana Coppi e Bartali, a 5-day Tour of Emilia-Romagna. Sella is leading it. Sella's pretty good in the mountains even without dope; he's small, lightweight and can ride a good tempo. Plus the field here isn't too spectacular; a lot of the strongest climbers in the race are all on his team so will happily let him go.

Thanks for the info, that race wasn't on my radar. Sella is certainly a real cllmber, he didn't have the endurance until 2007/2008 though. Guess his brain/body remembers what's needed...assuming he's clean now.

Contadirty seems to be going pretty well for a 'returning' rider. He seems to be riding better without clen in his system than when he was eating dodgy steaks.

what are you doing here? i really dont understand. i bet your life is "great".

still, contador was always like that. wining a LOT! how many stage races has the guy already won?15?20?

so this is (almost) nothing new. and, so far, he isnt a doper. cut the "hate" and fanboyism, post like a man when the sitiuation asks for it.

the only thing that its different (as you can see in stage 3 highlights)- he was suffering. contador's form is far from great. still, he kept going and going..pushing harder and harder..and he won. amazing win.
he wants to prove something.. he is full of rage. and thats the kind of thing that really makes me love this sport.

did you saw vuelta a murcia? he even atacked on the flat before the climb!!!! even without the power (he just won by 5secons) that he can have.. do you saw how he finished the stage?that's pure rage. and the next ITT?

i just cant wait for the tour. there, even if he is so f+cking tired, i bet that andy (you do know who is andy's brother?and father?) wont be able to drop him..even if he ends wining the tour.

fact- he is a legend.

Fair enough then. :p I have trouble putting a rider like the canc in level 2 though. And i couldnt put contador in there either but maybe im too cynical about it.

Any chance that doesn't mean Riccò wouldn't stick to a program and would always do some extra stuff on his own because, hey, it couldn't hurt, whereas Sella would take only what Savio's doctor told him to take? I'm only half kidding.
Maybe you are half right.;)

Yes, skinny climbers attacking on the flat just screams 'clean rider' to me.

He was fueled by rage you say? Well it is a well known side effect of steroids. Mind you, they said that 'rage' was what was fueling Armstrong all those years. Who knew that rage comes from the point of a needle.

Are you suggesting that Contador is doping at the moment (Vuelta a Murcia, Volta a Catalunya)??

Well, with comments like yours it is clear that you hateboys will keep on questioning Contador no matter what he does. But that's YOUR PROBLEM.

Bangbangbangbangbang!! :D

And yet you're the one getting upset and calling people 'hateboys' for saying mean things about your hero. So obviously, criticism of your boy and the suggestion that he is a doper upsets you and causes you problems.

Of course it upsets me, mate. Especially if he's accused with no evidence. Which is exactly what you're acknowledging with your unbiased and scientific-based post above. So prove he's doping now or swallow your BS.

Cheers.

Or what?

You sound just like one of those Armstrong fanboys. There is plenty of evidence - analytical and documentary about his doping. The problem is that because he's your boy you will never accept that he is dirty - even if he was caught with a syringe in his **** you'd still be declaring him innocent.

I'll tell you what - you tell me what your rules of evidence are - as they are clearly very different from normal rules, and then we'll see if there is any evidence that meets it.

Its quite funny a lot of returning dopers say '“In training I no longer just follow my sensations,” And i train with a proper regimented training programme, What a load of bull****....
They seem to say now that im successful again I just needed to train properly and Im at the same level as i was with the dope..

It is all about training more scientifically, reconoitering the courses, weight loss, and high cadence.

Remember those special tubulars that are glued then stored for months (?) in a special room to "age"? I loved that.

Were they made of dry-cured ham?
