Remco Evenepoel... remember this name.

He will ride for Axeon in 2019, in 2018 he is still a junior so he is not a PCT rider yet. He will be one of the strongest (together with Karel Vacek and Soren Waerenskjold) juniors for 2018 though.

Why did he stop soccer?

Soccer? What's that? Something to eat? :D :D

hahaha sorry, football then

He lost fun in it, besides that he wasnt in the starting 11 anymore in his team. He already did cycling each summer (just with friends no real competition) and decided to give it a go this year. His improvements have been incredible!

Amaury Capiot after almost a year without racing in 2017, he will return at a high level and do what Theuns (2015), Van Asbroeck (2014), Van Staeyen (2013) did for Topsport Vlaanderen/Sport Vlaanderen before.
What happened to him? I tried finding some information online but couldn't find any.

A Tendon problem, he was operated in March, but the doctor operated him to something different then what caused the real problem, which ment he needed an other operation and was out much longer then what would have been necessary, he said he should recover at 100% though and he is currently riding again (since about a month I think).

Also he went from the typical football-douchebag haircut (long on the top, none on the sides) to a proper one.

His name is already remembered by all those who watched cycling in the nineties, through his father of course. ;)
If you're talking about Patrick Evenepoel, I highly doubt "all" those who watched cycling in the nineties remember him. ;) That would be like expecting everybody who watch cycling now to know about, let's say, Benjamin Verraes, wouldn't it?

Honestly when I first read about Remco Evenepoel last August on Directvelo, the name immediately rang a bell and they did straight mention Patrick, the father but also honestly I could not directly remember the father's Christian name nor his palmarès. Probably the fact he won the Wallonia GP (in 1993) has helped remember his name since I was raised in Namur. ;) However I'm not sure that Benjamin Verraes has ever won a race that is equal to the Wallonia GP or has he?

Bad exemple, should've used Steve Schets, a rider who won two of the most beautiful belgian races, the Schaal Sels and the Handzame Classic.

With all respect did Steve Schets really win the Schaal Sels? Anyway he will be remembered by all those who followed track cycling closely, for sure. :)

By the way, I just had a walk back on Memory Lane and watched an RTBF Youtube clip about Patrick Evenepoel winning the 1993 Wallonia GP, with the late Claudy Criquielion in the commentary box :( with Rodrigo Beenkens.

He really won mightily with an attack on the first ascent of the Citadelle (in those days, the race ended with 2 ascents of it). So a bit like Tim Wellens he attacked at the last but one climb. :) He was 24 at that time and ended his pro career the following year.

Finally, Valverde will be revealed as a divine emissary appointed by the gods to dominate cycling forever. Spain will have to ritually sacrifice Catalunya to the gods in order for them to grant Valverde immortality and he will truly become El Imbatido, being beaten by neither old age nor injury, winning each and every cycling race under the sun for all eternity.

As funny as this was when I first read it, and still do find it funny, there might actually be a small amount of truth to it. Who knows, just maybe the cycling gods have given us Valverde. The way he looked at Mallorca would go towards this interesting theory.
