I have all along looked at the positive side of things as much as possible. But, it seemed like there has been more often reason to be pessimistic.
But look at this! This is a real ban. Of course, it would be a pretty easy bet that Ricco would have found some way to die in the middle of a race if they had let him continue to ride. They wouldn't have wanted that. But this is still an optimistic event. It shows me that, in spite of what it may seem from the peanut gallery, where I sit, there are people in the appropriate organizations trying to be effective.
