Haller, who was involved in the crash just soloed away from the first big group behind the peloton and is back in the main group.
Maybe I see the race through the red-whit-red glasses but without the crash he really could have gotten a top 10 place. He was 5 minutes back after the crash !!!

I always thought Rohregger and Haller himself exaggerated when they talked about a top10 as goal for Haller, but yeah that was impressive.

Would not surprise me that Haller leads out Kristoff if he's still there in the final lap

Some drops of rain starting.

Fingers crossed.

keeping my fingers crossed....that in the last 20km, i'll be able to watch for more than a minute without picture freeze or complete loss of video.

"disgraceful video coverage" would be an understatement.

Same.
I've actually opened up 3 live feed tabs to jump between should one cut out on me. :p

same here. to use a baseball analogy: three tabs open, tired of striking out."

with two tabs open...i have hope of making contact with a third tab. :p

I haven't seen Sagan once all race.
Come to think of it I remember making that exact comment in the finales of the last two worlds too. He becomes Zubeldia in the worlds for some reason

Is that Viviani in the break I see? :)

Anyone want crow? I have plenty prepared :D

Meh, Viviani being here means he has zero chance of winning. But I will be prepared for crow if I'm wrong.

I didn't say he would win, I was making the point this race isn't too hard for him, so for once he may be Italy's best chance.

I don't think he'll be their best bet when they take the final lap. The speed and intensity will be much greater.

Germany should stop chasing. They've done too much already. Let Norway or Australia bring this back

Allthough I don't expect a result of the dutchies I'm proud of how they raced so far. The country that made the race hard and keeps it hard.

Nice break, not too happy withlast wheel Viviani.

Aussies riding in the true Gerrans spirit, do nothing to make the race exciting, never help anyone anywhere unless you absolutely have to, and then show yourself in the final 5 meters.

Gap steady, even being brought back a bit. Germans chasing. Afraid that Boonen and Kwiatkowski doomed themselves. Still, great try!

What did you expect him to do? I haven't seen any top contender yet, except Kwiatek, who has a nice bunch of workers with him in the leading group.
