Done, also Kooij and Nys.
DoneBen Healy
Ben Healy is not another Benny Hill but excels in hilly terrain
Quite remarkable results this year. He finished 60% of his races in top3 so far, despite fracturing his hand in Etoile de Besseges and picked up two wins within a week of his return from the injury. I was never convinced by his u-23 results and didn't expect him to pick up a lot of results as a...forum.cyclingnews.com
Done, under Girmay, Biniam (Not authentic to Eritrean naming conventions, but more likely to be where someone would look for him)Biniam Girmay discussion thread
I can tell because he was like the first guy on my list and then I took him out of my team thinking he was pretty expensive after all - and then he goes and wins his first race of the season right away. Now watch him win a lot more... Born in Asmara, Eritrea, on 2 April 2000, he started his...forum.cyclingnews.com
done, as is Mohoric's above (with an updated title)So is Turgis'.
A trident became a single tine; The Turgis dynasty rests on Anthony's shoulders
Sorry for the fanciful thread title but I thought that Anthony Turgis deserved a thread because he now has two second places and a fourh place in the cobbled classics (second to MvdP in Dwars 2019, second in KBK to Mads Pedersen in 2021 and 4th in De Ronde after almost beating Kristoff in the...forum.cyclingnews.com
Though, to be fair, it had been dormant for a bit longer. I only remembered it because of the epic thread title.
Not the way anyone would describe him now, but entered.Michael Mørkøv the king of breakaways (yes, seems to be the only thread for him):
Morkov - king of breakaways in 2012
Michael Morkov has been in the successful breakaways in these races I remember this year: Stage Paris Nice Waregem San Remo Wevelgem Stage De Panne Three first stages TdF You´re free to add more, possibly I forgot races... He is the most combative rider in 2012, that´s for sure...forum.cyclingnews.com
sorted, thanksHey, @Armchair Cyclist. You might wanna check the links for Finn and Formolo. There seems to have been a mix-up.
DoneI made a Pieterse thread.
Teams & Riders - The Puck Pieterse Thread
Triple-disciplining like a boss! It would take too long to list all her achievements in both CX, MTB, and Road. And now for something completely different: Official Redhead Certification I, RedheadDane, by the power invested in me, by me, hereby declare Puck Pieterse an officially certified...forum.cyclingnews.com
I just wanted to check something. In the Forum rules thread one of the things stated is to not revive old threads that haven't been posted in for a long time. How does this work for specific rider or team threads? Because I looked through the list above of all the different rider threads, looking for one on Giulio Ciccone, as I wanted to post about him and share a photo in the thread but it doesn't seem to have been posted in for over a year. So do I have to create a new thread on him if I want to chat about him or can I post in the existing thread listed above, even though it's probably considered an "old thread". I'm a bit confused! Lol.
It's hard to think of a likely scenario in which, as moderator, I would see need to act on an otherwise OK post in an apparently moribund thread. It sometimes highlights that an account is a bot, but otherwise I am not clear what the reason for the rule is.I just wanted to check something. Btw, this is a fantastic thread and great idea. Makes it so easy to find threads on specific riders/teams, it's brilliant! So, how about a thread for the great Elisa Longo-Borghini? She definitely deserves one!
