What ever happened to the UCI Pro-tour leader (white jersey) idea - I assume it was recognized as a mistake and allowed to die.

The UCI lists Joaquin Rodriguez asthe numbwer one
in workd rankings for 2010

I really hope to see the return of such a jersey, only for rolling yearly rankings, rather than starting in January.

Yup, and I hope for a new system of the country ranking as well, counting from january to august is quite terrible
