Sam Bennett on 65. I didn't expect him to suddenly begin racking up the wins again. I also think he is a bit too old to realistically have many good seasons left.

If Bennett continues to ride those small, French races, he could still win a lot.75 should be doable if the AG2R resurgence lasts into next year.
He is almost 34. Can't see him riding after 2026If Bennett continues to ride those small, French races, he could still win a lot.

Edvald Boasson Hagen should start marking off his final 19 wins now he is part of the Decathlon AG2R rejuvenated team.
It should be 22, for some reason PCS lists three Tour de l'Avenir stages.
Yeah there was a mini debate about it a couple pages back since someone said Roglic should be ahead of EBH already because of that even though it’s counted as 2.1 though Roglic had a win or two as well that is listed as professional.IIRC 2007 was the first U23 Nations Cup edition, while the U26 ones before that were 2.1.
The day that Kristoff doesnt win some random race you forgot about for a whole year is the day I'll finally feel oldKristoff continues to trudge along.
He's on 90 now. I still don't think he'll get there but he should have a place in the poll.

I think both Demare and Roglič should narrowly get to 100 wins while Pogačar is on track to get close to 150.
I don't see any other rider on the list reaching 100 wins.
If I recall correctly he was sick during the spring classics.Demare only needs five more wins. He turns 33 this August, so it seems pretty possible, yet this year he seems to be going backwards having a quick look at his recent results. Did he struggle with an illness or crashes or something, or is this just a *** season of grand magnitude so far?
According to my spreadsheet (which on this parameter is not as thorougly fact-checked as the win stat) this is how the current pros rank in WT wins (including Olympic road races and World Championships road races):
1: Sagan - 72
2: Cavendish - 69
3: Valverde - 60 (includes wins from 2003 and 2004 in future WT races)
4: Roglic - 44
5: Froome - 35
6: Gilbert - 32
6: Sam Bennett - 32
8: Pogacar - 31
9: Ewan - 30
10: Viviani - 27
10: Matthews - 27
12: Alaphilippe - 25
13: Van Aert - 24
13: Porte - 24
15: Boasson Hagen - 23
15: Nibali - 23
15: Quintana - 23
18: Gaviria - 22
19: Démare - 21
20: Degenkolb - 20
20: Simon Yates - 20
So, in conclusion, 100 WT wins is impossible. Unless, maybe, your name is Tadej Pogacar.
The post is from August 2022, just add his WT wins since then if you want the numberThis is wrong. Pogacar has way more than 31 wins
To update a few numbers:@tobydawq is your man:
I didn't know it. Pogacar has 54 wins now.The post is from August 2022, just add his WT wins since then if you want the number
