Pog and Vinge are in their own world. But then.... I think everything is open. Remco looks good and has a nice advantage. But there are many mountains left and Rog is not dead yet.

Our coverage didn't show much of Pog's attack with Jonas on his wheel. It looked too much like RBH was racing against Remco rather than trying to get separation from anyone else. In the end it was the stage the terrain suggested would occur. JV couldn't shake Pogacar and overworked Matteo, again. Fortunately the rest day provides a reset and JV got a stage win for their pride. I'm sure Denk is feeling a little less heat...for a day off.

Starting to spot him a lot more at the front - feels encouraging. Seems to be keeping a low profile - no grandstanding and content to lose a few secs here and there.

How does Roglic gain 2 minutes on Remco tho?
I think it's unlikely to happen, but Remco could have a bad day and shell minutes. I guess it could happen to any of them, but I just have a feeling the Remco is a little off thisTour. I think the fight for 3rd will be interesting, moreso than the overall win.

He is clearly still well below peak, but he seems to be getting better. Peak Roglic would have caught the leading duo in the last 300 meters. But he's still in the podium hunt if his form continues to improve.

It could happen, but so far he hasn't even tried to hang with them on their accelerations, has he? I don't recall him going with them and popping, but maybe I'm forgetting. Mostly he has just ridden his own pace as they ride away from him, similar to Roglic (only better).

Seeing how Rog totally exploded on some puny cat 2 in the Giro a couple of months ago, I'd say things are looking up.

Fight for third will become fight for first when Pog and Vinge are so nonchalantly playing cat and mouse games with each other that they nonchalantly take the wrong turn on the road and only realize after many km's.

It's also no coincidence the Giro winner shipped 25 minutes earlier in the week and wins the stage today. They're coming good.

Is Roglic's form improving for real? Is he riding himself into form?

With Almeida gone, and Remco not looking like he has 2024 TDF legs, could Roglic actually mount a comeback to the podium? :D

Vigilant through stage 10 and having some luxury, Lipo there. Form is ever so slightly rising and all the bullets saved will for sure come in handy deeper into the race, bazooka intact for now.

So first rest since when, not banged up and bruised, likely to sleep in and celebrate.
