The ones that didn't go onto my cq team, mostly
Rafael Valls showed too much in '10 to remain without a contract, I hope.
Michael Albasini: a strong all rounder who might benefit from new oportunities at GE, with few climbers on the team.
Takashi Miyazawa had some decent showings on Farnese Vini before moving to Riis' WT team.
Michael Morkov sprints and TTs well, one for the classics?
Filippo Pozzato: Farnese Vini might be the right place for him.
Angel Madrazo for hilly day races/stages.
Thibaut Pinot: I agree with this one, obv.
Jonathan Hivert... was impressive last year, although he may just be consistent at that level.
Daniele Colli returning to his previous level.
Kenny Van Hummel was making a case for the top 5 sprinters last year and we'll see more of him in bigger races next year.
I respectfully disagree with Moondance's prediction for Degenkolb. I can't remember if IT41 are World Tour or not, but I think they'll be able to split the calendar up in a mutually agreeable way to the two Germans. If anything I found JD the more impressive for immediately showing great endurance in races at the highest level in his neopro year, as well as being very very fast. He has potential for many races whichKittel won't figure in. I think he could be one of the most notable riders next year in fact.
Giovanni Visconti: you can't churn out all those results at pro conti level and then fizzle out in the WT. Particularly if Valverde doesn't come back to his best immediately, I think he'll be leading Movistar quite frequently. He's obviously ok with that pressure.
Wout Poels.
Jetse Bol.
Moreno Moser is one Italian younster who hasn't been mrntioned yet, but there seem to be a fair few climbing talents in that country.
Gregory Henderson should bounce back after a minor dip. He expressed annoyance about being overlooked on Sky, and he'll definitely have better opportunities on Lotto. He'll be the second fastest man on the team (possibly was at Sky too, but nvm.) and should therefore be the supported sprinter in many races. Also if he's leading out Greipel, the German has been known to go missing in the finale on the odd occasion and someone needs to step in.
