Rollers - even in the summer

I train quite a bit with rollers in the winter, but I also use them in the summer when the weather is really nasty, or when I have a very specific set of intervals that I want to complete, especially ones with all-out efforts, or longer efforts.

Does anybody else use rollers on a regular basis for their in-season training?

I've been using E-Motion rollers for the past few years, an it looks like they're going to be compatible with apps, Bluetooth and ANT+ sensors soon. What are your thoughts? http://www.insideride.com/early-adopter/

This is going back quite a bit, but 1989 pursuit World Champion Colin Sturgess seemed to have a lot of faith in rollers, spending much time on them before his victory

"I put my leg-speed down to hours and hours of interval training on rollers, coupled with motor-pacing on the road for a bit of strength and power. Ask guys like Dean Downing about rollers and visualization."
