Bardet is from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region so it is his home race. Maybe Daphne will have a special stage to honour him in 2025.

I thought the forum was to talk about Remcos weight and say how boring a race - any race - was before anyone else

Tried to watch the full stage but the only compelling bit was the final few kilometers. Has cycling always been this boring to consume on TV?

Curious what the context is here?

Bardet bridging across to the break was cool--very calculating. And obviously hanging on to win the stage and take the jersey was very pro...doggedly determined. But I would've found it much less boring to just watch the final 50km. The previous 150 were tedious for me the TV viewer.
