I like the way OPQS is riding and I think they might take de Ronde this year. FC is scary, but so far we have wins by Boonen and Terpstra have won. Chava looks pretty dangerous.

And most importantly - they seem totally comfortable working for one another.

PR will also be pretty interesting.

Yeah holy **** they are strong! Boonen is obviously super strong and may even be able to stay with canc as long as he is in the slipstream. Chavanel and Terpstra appear to be about as strong as any of the other favorites, and can mark everyone else out of the race or chase them back for Boonen.

Terpstra was really impressive again today. He will have to be accounted for.

My new dark horse is Pippo.

I know he's been classified as a wheel-sucker do-nothing, but he's riding strong. Recall his 2009 Paris-Roubaix form: if he hadn't been held up by two crashes that Boonen missed... who knows. GIven the right moment in Flanders, he could take the thing. OPQS vs. Cancellara might = Pozzato's first monument.

Who won Milan-San Remo in 2006?

This will be interesting. He has some strong teammates as well.

Given his form and the new finale I think Cancellera has a very good chance for a win at Flanders

He always had a good chance, so this is a pretty useless post :p

His biggest weakness is his team though, but the new finale definitely suits Cancellara a bit better than Boonen. I'm afraid this new finale will prove a bit too hard for Boonen if raced hard. But that's cycling, and I'm looking forward to the new finale anyway. I have a lot of confidence in Boonen finally equaling RDV in Paris-Roubaix though :p

You're right...
How can I forget about it.
Now I clearly remember him celebrating at the finish line.

Alright, alright. I've got a head full of cobbles right now, that's all.

That's always been one of my favorite pics, too:

What's Petacchi doing there? Did he start to celebrate and only then saw Pozzato still ahead?

I think he's complaining about something, celebrating would be really stupid ;) :p
