Can't believe people actually think he looks fat. I think Phil will be ready now

He won't win the Ronde, but he's going to be a monster by the time the Ardennes start.

I'm pretty sure Catalunya is worth absolutely nothing except WT points. Porte was domestique in P-N, a good one at that.

I disagree with Catalunya being worth nothing. Even with the stage cancellation and ridicolous winner as result it has much more value than Algarve

Wow. If you'd told me it was the Topsport Vlaanderen line up I'd have believed you as well.

Voeckler's engine is not big enough for the long classics.

You would never have thought he could hold the jersey until Alpe de huez yet his determination won through.
I think he could suprise people if he finds himself in a selection of 30 riders or so just because his will to win is more than a lot of other riders.
Saying that he hasnt been on great form so I doubt he can do much

Even last year he came too short in the classics.

There's a difference between 200km stages and races of 260km. Some have the engine for it, some don't.

I still laugh hard at lats years tour and what you and others said about voeckler there. voeckler is like vino(less class of course a bit). if he wants it he can do it

Voeckler has no class, never had and never will get it. I didn't say anything about Voeckler last year anyway.

Everyone said that. No one predicted Voeckler would get in the top 10 of the Tour before it started. That's why Voeckler is called the surprise of the Tour.

Stage 1 and 4 were stages for puncheurs, which he is first and foremost and he failed there. Stages like that say more about someone's classic potential than a mountain finish. ;)

maybe not before the topur started but when he got yellow I was one of those who said voeckler could do top ten or even top 5. as he's that type of rider that changes when his mentality changes

you don't need to be a p[uncheur to win classics. just ask vino who won lbl twice and agr
