When it comes to tactics, I could not expect any less from Mathieu van der Poel
Was there any possible scenerio in which the race would look any different that it looks atm? I hoped Mathieu could stick to Pog cause he looked great today. But 2023 showed us clearly that Ronde favours Pogi above Mathieu massively

Looking forward for Roubaix. Flanders too much a climbers course for WVA. Hopefully no bad luck this year, and he can actually battle for victory. Surprisingly enough. (if he has today's legs). That is something in and of itself. Would not have believed it couple of weeks ago. However this also proves WVA should stop focusing on Flanders an dstart focusing on less hilly races like MSR. (I would still race Flanders, just not focus my season on it, if i'm WVA, luck can always shine on your side after all.)
